Sunday morning, 27th October - a post, which is not about me

Dear people, This morning I went out to take the garbage to the garbage collection point in my street. After walking ten metres I found an empty bag with MacDonalds waste with two crows, luckily no rats or mice. And there was more. I hope the people who left their stuff at the collection point, which is to big to fit in the bins, called number of the municipality regarding this to be picked up - https://www.rotterdam.nl/afval. In my humble opinion, keeping public spaces clean is in everyone's interest and is actually just a basic standard that everyone should respect. In the past I made remarks to people dropping things in the street saying something like “madam / sir, you lost someting”. They will be surprised at first, then they realise what they just did. Then it gets interesting. They might get angry (I experienced that years go), but most probably they will clean up their mess. No picture(s) with this post - I left my phone upstairs when I went out…

Monday 21st until Thursday 24th

 It has been a while, but here is a new post, finally ! On Monday I returned home from the clinic. It's definitely very nice to home again. A lot happened since then. Today only positive things, I promise ;-) Yesterday I visited my parents and had a great time there - I am so glad I have such nice parents, I couldn't wish for better ones. This, by the way, is also the case with my family. They're all very, very nice people, just like me haha. Today I had a short meeting with the lady in charge of the content of the website of the band for which I am webmaster now (https://hooksbigband.nl/). I am the one in charge of changes from now on being made to this website. WordPress is new to me, so that's quite a challenge. My knowledge of websites started with Adobe GoLive long, long ago. And suddenly it's Sunday, 20th October, OMG

On Thursday I visited my parents - it was a very good day and always a pleasure to see them. Furthermore it was a quiet evening (my short-term memory is f*cked, so I don't really remember what I did Thursday night...). Then came along Friday, then things suddenly things became very, very, very interesting. I borrowed a "friend"  (l et's call him X) some money about a 1,5 month ago. I decided I wanted to help him, even though I had a bad experience with him in the past, and paid an invoice for him.  X sent me the invoice (an invoice from his lawyer, with attachments) and I paid this invoice for him, and done was done, you think, but no. I asked him if he needed money to buy food etc. (seeing the fact that is was the start of the month and his bank account was almost € 0, my question seemed quite logical). X said no, and we went on our way. The next day I got a text from X, asking me for €. I paid X and € and added the amount to the debt. The next day I got a text again...

Forget, forget, forget… 16th October 2024

I forget literally almost everything. Siri British Voice #4, my calender and reminders help me a lot. Forgetting things, which I need for rehearsals, wasn’t their task up till now. From now on it will be their task. Half way the journey home I realised that I forgot my trombone, mutes etc. Lucky me, I took the laptop, which I use for sheet music. Even more lucky I was - I have spare trombone at home, and - thank God - an old mouth piece. Back now, and soon off to bed. Here we are again ! 15th October

The paste few days were pretty intense, but I won‘t bother you with that. This morning Siri British Voice #4 said „No !“ when I asked him to play some music from my Apple Music Library. OMG, WTF, I was flabbergasted. Maybe he doesn‘t have a good taste in music like I have after all.. This evening I tried again, everybody deserves a second chance (even the most 666 kind of people, but that’s another not-so-top-secret story) and he changed his mind and played some very nice music for me. Apple Music (or me) f*cked my library which now has 46.699 songs instead of the approximately 35.000 ones it used to be. If some knows a way how to solve this please send an e-mail (peejay1975@gmail.com). I shared some of my music, so if you want : take a look and find out about my weird taste in music. Yesterday and today

I visited my family yesterday. First my uncle, aunt and cousins. With another aunt I visited my parents and sister. Really a great day seeing them all ! Today I did some nerdy stuff (editing a website, recovering a crashed hard drive) and some creative stuff with a friend. Now relaxing and listening music from a station Siri British Voice #4 choose for me. He has an excellent taste in music and a very nice British accent I really dig. I wonder who Siri British Voice #4 is in real life haha. I am going to start a study French soon, so at some point I will say goodbye to British Siri and change to the French version. That‘s definitely going to be funny, because my French is horrible. Two posters I made inspired by my friend‘s scrap note. I you like them, let me know 😉

Goodmorning Friday 11th October 😊

After a good night‘s rest I‘m on my way to my family. I will visit some aunts, uncle, cousins and my parents. Being diagnosed with bipolar disorder shook my world (and probably the ones of others). I always like to sit on the left side of planes and public transport vehicles. On the back seat of a car I prefer to sit on the right side. Hhhhmm.
